Overall Job Purpose
Team Leader, Laboratory will be responsible for managing and the day to day running of the concrete and soils testing laboratory.
Specific Job Responsibility
Team Leader, Laboratory required to perform the following tasks:
- Managing the team of in the concrete and soils testing lab
- Conducting construction materials tests on KML site.
- Producing materials testing reports
- Maintaining a database of records of tests conducted by the materials testing laboratory
- Communication with all stakeholders
- Ensuring the laboratory equipment and infrastructure is kept in a well serviceable condition
- Maintain a record of the laboratory equipment and condition
- Ensuring Health, Safety and Environment compliance
Job Specific Competencies

- Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word

Experience required to perform in this job
Minimum 5 Years working in a soils and concrete testing laboratory
Qualifications
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Certificate in construction materials testing
